A first hand Experience.
Without the Fluff.
FOR THE EVERYDAY TRAVELER.
After visiting 24 countries across the globe and living in the middle east for six years I have had my fair share of travel blunders. For instance, packing for summer only to land in winter. This happened after a 42-hour flight from Hawaii to Bahrain, final stop Turkey. I have stayed in fabulous five-star hotels such as my favorite the Jumeirah, to cozy villas and fully serviced apartment hotels. You would be surprised at the amazing ‘farmhouses’ or so called ‘camps’ that they have in the gulf region. It ranges from an actual tent to proper homes or a mini city of luxury portable buildings with paved walkways. Proper tents that are enclosed with tile flooring, fully lined with plush sofas a 75-inch TV a wet bar, fireplace a foosball and pool table. And that is the short list!

Or five hours from Kathmandu, Nepal you will stumble upon a find a five-star resort in the middle of the jungle. In the mountains of Sri Lanka, along the side of a waterfall is a string of luxury cabin tree house, which are absolutely stunning. The health benefits of being that close to the waterfall was an extra special bonus. I have enjoyed the unique happenings that each place offered. I know what I like therefore I am particular when it comes to comfort, quality and Customer Service. Tip: Not all hotels even fancy ones, out in natures best have someone at the desk all night. If you are taking a drive a few hours away to get to your location, be sure to contact them ahead of time.

In short there are many misconceptions that people have about certain locations, cultures and religions. With many conflicting mostly unaware viewpoints. Also, a lot of garnishes when it comes to travel articles. I am sharing my genuine observance to give insight to propel you to your own new experiences. Believe it or not I have a healthy fear of flying. It must be my least favorite thing to do. However, my excitement for adventure keeps me from taking a backseat to life.
